It is all about the dream.
When you start an ambitious goal like becoming job optional you always hear that you need a dream to get you started and keep you motivated while you put in the work to make it happen. They tell you it needs to be a big dream- something outrageous – to get you past all the obstacles. What you usually hear when talking about dreams is things – cars, houses, trips. Things make it easy to answer the question but are they what really drives people? Are you willing to work hard for a Ferrari? Is that Ferrari a core desire or just a flashy diversion. Before you get started it is essential that you understand just what you really value and what will really get you moving on with whatever plans you make. Let’s say that you really do want to become job optional. What does that mean to you? What would your day be like when you reach that goal?
A real life example
Frank Kern is an incredible successful marketer. He is beyond selling things at this stage in his life. Frank built a successful business and got the houses and cars but his business didn’t really take off until he got in touch with what was really important for him – the perfect day.
